Taking a Break From Sewing
It's that time of the year when I pack up my fabric, dolls, and fashion books and pull out the scrapbook supplies. I love both my obsessions very much, but unfortunately I don't have the space to have everything out at the same time.
My dream hobby room would have tons of counter space for both hobbies. Then I could flit back and forth between projects and do whatever I want. I wonder if I would get anything done.
I hope to finish scrapping 2007 in a couple of months. Then I will be back to sewing for Gene and friends. This blog will be my showcase. I will make two of everything; one to keep and one to sell on ebay or on the doll boards. I will also be taking order on many of my outfits. That way people can get what they want and I won't spend time making outfits that don't sell well.
One of my main focuses will be replicating classic film costumes. I will make costumes from "Meet Me in St. Louis", "Funny Face", "Rear Window", "Imitation of Life" and many others.
